Freudentränen in Orzydorf - Busreise mit vielen Höhepunkten
Eine Gruppe von 45 Orzidorfer Landsleuten machte sich im grünen Monat Mai mit einem Bus der Firma „Feil Reisen“ aus Augsburg auf den Weg, um Ihre alte Heimat zu besuchen.
Um die langen Busfahrten auf der Hin- und Rückreise etwas zu erleichtern, wurde in Ungarn übernachtet. Belegte Brötchen und selbstgebackener Kuchen, aber auch Lieder, Gedichte und Witze sorgten für gute Laune und im Bus. Ein erster Höhepunkt war der 65. Geburtstag von Frau Anna Baumgart, geb. Scheible und gleichzeitig Ihr Rubinhochzeitstag mit Ihrem Mann Manfred Baumgart, den wir gleich beim ersten gemeinsamen Frühstück in Ungarn ausgiebig mit Glückwünschen, Liedern und Sekt feierten.
Mit Spannung und Neugierde und ohne große Probleme kamen wir in Rumänien an: viele hatten ihre alte Heimat seit Jahren nicht mehr gesehen. Trotzdem hielten wir nur kurz in Orzidorf und fuhren weiter nach Temeswar und bezogen am frühen Abend in den Hotels „Central“ und „Cina“ die Zimmer.
Eine unerwartete Überraschung erlebten wir, als wir Freitag morgens in Orzidorf ankamen: vor dem Rathaus wurden wir von der Bürgermeisterin Cornelia Ardelean und Kindern in rumänischer und Banater Tracht mit Brot und Salz, dem typischen rumänischen Brauch, sowie deutschen und rumänischen Landsleuten empfangen und in den Sitzungssaal gebeten. Nach herzlichen und bewegenden Grußworten der Bürgermeisterin und unserem Dank für diesen Empfang, saß man bei Gebäck und Raki beisammen und feierte das Wiedersehen.
Bei ungewöhnlich kaltem und regnerischem Wetter fuhren wir dann zum Friedhof, kauften frische Blumen und legten sie auf die Gräber unserer Ahnen. Bald zogen wir uns in unsere Kirche zurück und waren erleichtert, dass sie noch so gut erhalten ist. Schnell formierte sich ein Kirchenchor unter der Leitung unseres Busfahrers Werner Zippel, der die alten Kirchenlieder für die Sonntagsmesse probte. Zu unserer Enttäuschung war die Orgel nicht mehr bespielbar, aber das daneben stehende Harmonium funktionierte. Gleichzeitig wurde die Kirche mit Blumen geschmückt und die Reparatur der Altarbeleuchtung organisiert. Erst am frühen Nachmittag lies der Regen nach und man begab sich ins Dorf zu seinem ehemaligen Haus, zu Bekannten oder Verwandten.
Samstags fuhren wir nach Maria Radna. Nach alter Wallfahrertradition wurde im Bus gebetet und Marienlieder gesungen. Auch während des Aufstiegs zur Kirche und des Einzugs sangen wir die schönen alten Lieder. Die Messe hielt Pfarrer Andreas Reinholz, der seit kurzem Domherr in Maria Radna ist. Eine Kirchenführung und eine Besichtigung der Votivbilderausstellung schloss sich an.
Nachmittags verhinderte das schlechte Wetter wieder einen Besuch des Friedhofs, so dass wir kurzfristig eine Besichtigung des Bades Calacea in das Programm aufnahmen. Uns wurden die Kuranlagen, die Unterkünfte und der Kurpark gezeigt. Einiges wurde schon renoviert, vieles muss noch getan werden, aber die Heilwirkung des Wassers ist nach wie vor hervorragend, so dass mancher sich einen längeren Kuraufenthalt durchaus vorstellen konnte.
Aber der Tag war noch nicht zu Ende. Das Adam-Müller-Guttenbrunn-Haus in Temeswar feierte sein 10-jähriges Bestehen. Dank der Vermittlung unserer Landsleute Kathi und Hans Ortmann, führte uns der Leiter des Hauses, Herr Helmut Weinschrott und seine Frau, noch zu später Stunde durch das Haus. Seine Begeisterung für seine Arbeit ist ansteckend und bewundernswert. Wie glücklich und gut versorgt sind doch die 84 Heimbewohner, die dort leben dürfen. Überraschend das kleine Trachtenpuppen- und Heimatmuseum, sowie die Fotoausstellungen zur Deportation nach Russland und in den Baragan im obersten Stockwerk des Hauses.
Der Sonntag wurde zum großen Festtag. Um neun Uhr starteten wir Richtung Orzidorf, besuchten noch einmal, nun bei strahlendem Sonnenschein, unseren Friedhof. Dann fuhren wir zur Kirche. Rechtzeitig wurden frische Blumen angeliefert und mit glänzenden Augen verteilten die Frauen die vielen Vasen in der ganzen Kirche. Die zwischenzeitlich reparierte Festbeleuchtung wurde eingeschaltet und ein wunderbarer Gottesdienst begann, den ein deutschsprechender Priester aus Temeswar gemeinsam mit dem griechisch-katholischen Pfarrer aus Orzidorf zelebrierte. Rumänen, Deutsche und Ungarn versammelten sich in der Kirche, die seit Jahrzehnten nicht mehr so voll besetzt war. Immer wieder sah man Einzelne, die sich Tränen aus dem Gesicht wischten. Als zum Ende der Messe „Glocken der Heimat“ angestimmt wurde, gab es kein Halten mehr, selbst dem Chor versagten die Stimmen.
Gemeinsam gingen wir mit all dem Erlebten in das neu renovierte „Alte Camin“ wo die Bürgermeisterin uns eine wunderbares Fest bereitete. Die Tische waren schön gedeckt und bogen sich fast unter der Last der vielen Platten mit den wohlschmeckenden Speisen und Getränken. Eine junge Folkloregruppe führte rumänische und deutsche Tänze vor und die Kinder sangen Lieder über unseren gemeinsamen Heimatort. Wir unsererseits machten dem Kindergarten ein Geschenk von 250 Euro und ließen zusätzlich den Korb rund gehen für die Tänzer und die Köchinnen. Unser Reporter Nikolaus Dietrich (geb. Andronache) lief aufgeregt mit der Kamera hin und her und filmte alles was ihm vor die Linse kam. Nach dem Essen brachte unser Landsmann Hans Ortmann mit seinem Akkordeon richtig Stimmung in den Saal. Bei Hora, Polka und Raki feierten wir bis spät in den Abend. Alte Freundschaften wurden erneuert und neue geschlossen. Laut Aussage der Einheimischen fand ein solches Fest seit Jahren nicht mehr in Orzidorf statt.
Der Montag stand zur freien Verfügung. Manche fuhren nach Orzidorf, andere besichtigten Temeswar oder besuchten Freunde und Bekannte. Um 17 Uhr trafen wir uns im Restaurant des Hotels Central zu einem Meinungsaustausch und Abschlussgespräch wieder. Die angesprochenen Themen wie Friedhofspflege, Kirchen- und Denkmalrenovierungen, etc. werden im Vorstand weiter diskutiert und beschlossen und im Weihnachtsbrief allen Orzidorfern mitgeteilt. Die mitanwesende Bürgermeisterin hat uns ihre Mithilfe zugesagt.
Herr Hans Ortmann sprach im Namen aller Mitreisenden den Organisatoren Elisabeth Rodenkirchen und Karl Scheible und dem gesamten Vorstand der HOG Orzidorf seinen Dank aus und überreicht jedem ein Geschenk. Ganz herzlich bedankten wir uns auch bei unserem Busfahrer und Kantor Herrn Werner Zippel, der einen ganz wesentlichen Anteil am Gelingen dieser Reise hatte. Und nicht zuletzt konnte diese Reise ein solcher Erfolg werden, weil alle Mitreisenden, jeder auf seine Art, dazu beigetragen haben. Der Abend fand in fröhlicher Runde seinen Ausklang.
Wohlbehalten und mit vielen schönen Erinnerungen kamen wir wieder in der neuen Heimat an. In zwei Jahren fahren wir wieder!
