12. Sonntag im Jahreskreis, Emskirchen und NEA, 20. 06.2010

Wen halten Sie für den geeigneteren Kandidaten für das Bundespräsidentenamt: Gauck oder Wulf? Die Zeitungen veröffentlichten in den letzten Tagen die letzten Ergebnisse über die Umfrage nach dem Bundespräsidentenamt: Auch sonst werden fast monatlich die Popularitätswerte namhafter Politiker abgefragt und veröffentlicht: wie bei der Bundeskanzlerin Merkel oder den Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten Obama, wie auch der einzelnen Minister. Meinungsumfragen sind wieder mal an der Tagesordnung. Danach richten sich gewisse wirtschaftliche Trends und nicht zuletzt sind Meinungsumfragen ein Instrument der Meinungsmache.

Eine solche Umfrage startet im heutigen Evangelium auch Jesus bei seinen Jüngern: „Für wen halten mich die Leute?“ Die Jünger kamen ja immer wieder mit dem Volk in Kontakt, sei es bei ihrer Aussendung oder bei der Nahrungsbeschaffung oder beim Auskundschaften von Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Sie bekamen die unterschiedlichsten Aussagen zu hören: Einige hielten Jesus für Johannes den Täufer. Von dem war bekannt, dass er am Jordan Umkehr und Buße verkündete, aber persönlich hatten ihn doch nur wenige zu Gesicht bekommen. Außerdem dürfte bekannt gewesen sein, dass er der Verwandter Jesu war. Die anderen gaben vor, Jesus sei der Elija. Das war der große Prophet in Israel, der als der große Nothelfer des Volkes galt. Und die Israeliten waren überzeugt, dass vor dem Kommen des Messias Elija wieder erscheinen werde, um seine Ankunft anzukündigen und vorzubereiten. Interessant ist, dass Elija in einem Atemzug mit Johannes genannt wird. Jesus wird später selbst Johannes den Täufer als den wiedergekommenen Elija bezeichnen, um auf die Erfüllung der Zeichen hinzuweisen.

Dann aber kommt die spannende Gretchenfrage an die Jünger: „Ihr aber, für wen haltet ihr mich?“ Denn Jesus identifiziert sich mit keiner der Umfragegestalten des Volkes, weder mit Johannes noch mit Elija. Petrus, der öfters als Sprecher der Apostel auftrat, formuliert das Bekenntnis so: „Für den Messias Gottes.“ Der Evangelist Matthäus 16,16 setzt noch eins drauf: “Du bist der Messias, der Sohn des lebendigen Gottes.“ Beim seinem Verhör vor dem Hohen Rat, fragt der Hohenpriester Jesus ausdrücklich: „Ich beschwöre dich beim lebendigen Gott, sag uns: Bist du der Messias, der Sohn des lebendigen Gottes?“ Darauf antwortet Jesus ganz klar und unmissverständlich: „Du hast es gesagt!“. Wenn Jesus der Messias und der Sohn des lebendigen Gottes ist, dann hat das Konsequenzen bezüglich seiner Autorität, mit der er seine Lehren vorbringt und seiner Vollmacht, mit der er seine Werke tut.

Eine erste Konsequenz, mit der weder die Jünger noch wir gerechnet hätten: ist, dass er vieles erleiden, ja sogar getötet werden müsse. Aber am dritten Tag stellt er seine Auferstehung in Aussicht. Der Prophet Sacharja nimmt gleichsam voraus, dass die Soldaten den Erlöser am Kreuz mit der Lanze durchbohren, wenn er schreibt: „Sie werden auf den blicken, den sie durchbohrt haben.“ Selbst die geheimnisvolle Quelle, die der Prophet verheißt, lässt sich mit dem Blut und dem Wasser vergleichen, das aus der geöffneten Seite Jesu flossen.

Der Brief des Apostels Paulus an die Galater greift den Gedanken der Sohnschaft Gottes auf. Wenn Christus im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Sohn des Lebendigen Gottes ist, dann haben auch wir Anteil an seiner Sohnschaft bzw. Kindschaft. Denn wir sind auf seinen Tod und seine Auferstehung hin getauft. Uns alle verbindet das gemeinsame Gewand aller Getauften, das wir damals angezogen oder das uns damals angekleidet worden ist. Es lässt sich gewiss auch eine Verbindung mit dem ungeteilten Leibrock Jesus herstellen, der von den Soldaten unter dem Kreuz nicht zerteilt wurde, sondern wegen seiner Schönheit ganz blieb.

Bleibt für uns selbst noch zu überlegen: Für wen halten wir den Menschensohn? Für einen guten, vorbildlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen, einen Revolutionär, Heiler oder Sozialreformer? Oder doch für wesentlich mehr: für den Sohn des lebendigen Gottes. Davon hängt vieles auch in unserem Leben ab. Denn er ruft auch uns in seine Nachfolge. Das ist nicht immer einfach und schon gar nicht leicht. Denn es heißt, dass wir täglich unser Kreuz auf uns nehmen sollen. Aber wir tragen es nicht allein, sondern mit ihm zusammen. Und Gott ist immer noch die größte Macht, die es gibt. „Gott, mein Gott, dich suche ich, meine Seele dürstet nach dir.“

Das Kreuz, das Menschen in ihrem Leben auf sich nehmen müssen, hat viele Formen. Oft erscheint es denen, die es zu tragen haben, schier unerträglich. Darum rufen wir zum lebendigen Sohn Gottes, indem wir bei den einzelnen Bitten flehen: Herr, steh ihnen bei!

1.- Unsere Kirche und die gesamte Christenheit leiden unter Spaltung und Zerrissenheit. Für sie bitten wir:

2.- Unser Staat und unsere politische Kultur sind von Respektlosigkeit und Streitsucht heimgesucht, der immer mehr Volksvertreter zum Opfer fallen. Für sie bitten wir:

Herr, steh ihnen bei!

3. - Die Schere zwischen Arm und reich geht auch bei uns immer mehr auseinander. Für die Notleidenden und Harz IV- Empfänger bitten wir:

Herr, steh ihnen bei!

4. - Viele Menschen leiden an schweren und unheilbaren Krankheiten oder an Behinderungen und Depressionen. Für sie bitten wir:

Herr, steh ihnen bei!

5. - Die Ölpest droht die Weltmeere zu verseuchen. Der Bürgerkrieg in Tadschikistan, Überschwemmungen und Zusammenstöße bei der Bahn und im Verkehr fordern viele Todesopfer und Verletzte. Für sie bitten wir:

6.- Viele unter uns trauern um liebe Menschen, die jung von uns gegangen sind und die wir sehr vermissen. Für sie bitten wir:
